Global Delegates Address Key Pet Food Issues at Successful GAPFA Technical Congress 2025
Bangkok, Thailand - The Global Alliance of Pet Food Associations (GAPFA) is pleased to announce the resounding success of its Technical Congress and Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025, held from 23-25 June at the Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort in Bangkok, Thailand.
Hosted by the Petfood Industry Association of Thailand (PIA), this flagship event brought together over 60 participants from around the world, including industry leaders, senior executives of global pet food companies, regulatory authorities, and representatives of international organizations.
The Congress theme - “Elevating Industry Growth through Commercial Diets, Safety, and Transparency” - provided the backdrop for robust discussions on sustainable industry growth, food safety standards, regulatory collaboration and innovation.
“This year’s Congress was a milestone for GAPFA, underscoring our shared commitment to advancing pet food safety, sustainability, and industry best practices through open dialogue and collaboration,” said the GAPFA President Loretta Hunter.

This upcoming event will continue GAPFA’s tradition of fostering global collaboration and advancing industry standards through expert dialogue, networking, and strategic planning.
